2. Don't call/text your ex like you both are still in a relationship. That person is called your ex for a reason, it is understandable if you want him back. What's not understandable and acceptable is if you start calling and texting him/her irrationally like he's your man. You don't want to appear jobless and cheap to someone you want back in your life
3. No matter how desperate you're in getting that person back into your life, don't act and talk like you're actually in that person's life. Hide your desperation or else you are going to be used like a thing. The best you can do is tell the person how you feel and then act on it. But I repeat, don't start acting like you own the person.
4. If there is a place you both loved visiting together, try as much as possible to stay away from there so you two won't coincidentally bump into each other like two love birds. After allowing your ex know how you feel, you want to make your ex think that you're independent and you can do without them to some degree. You don't want to come off as desperate and terribly needing attention and love.
5. Sometimes you have to prove to your ex that you want him back. Especially if you both ran out of love in your first trial, you would have to prove that you're still capable of loving him
