Love is not enough

I had a three years plus relationship once.

A very beautiful girl. Law student. Caring. Extremely intelligent!, Sweet. Energetic. With the sexy eyes and smart brain.

Oh, she has the ass and boobs accurately. Those ones are important too.

I ended it and we both walked away.

No crying. No wailing. No shouting. No dragging of feet. She didn't go to Facebook to write men are scum. I didn't go to anybody to badmouth her too.

Oh, don't say we didn't love each other. We did!

Those three years are the most romantic of my life.

No cheating.
No lies.
No violence.

I worked on her law assignments for her.
She kept pushing me to be better and do better with my life.
We kept deliberating


on ideas almost every week. Business ideas.

But we got tired eventually, told each other the truth and we went our separate ways.

No qualms.

FYI, we're still very good friends.

The time you're spending together is nothing... But how much is that person contributing to your life? That's the question you should constantly ask yourself.

Because, love is not enough.
